Terms of Service

This is a translation for convenience. If it differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version governs.

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set out the conditions for using CompBook (the "Service").

1. About the Service

The Service is a free tool for organizing your own Teamfight Tactics (TFT) comps, boards and notes. Data you create is currently stored in your browser (only when you issue a pickup code are the playbooks you choose kept on our server for 24 hours).

2. Application of these Terms

These Terms apply to everyone who uses the Service. You can read them at any time from the link at the bottom of each page.

3. Your data

  • You are responsible for managing the data you create. It may be lost if you clear your browser data or change or lose your device.
  • The operator cannot view or access data stored in your browser. Data deposited with a pickup code is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Prohibited conduct

The following conduct is prohibited.

  • Conduct that violates the law or public order and morals
  • Conduct that places an excessive load on the Service's servers or network, or that interferes with its operation
  • Exploiting bugs in the Service or attempting unauthorized access
  • Infringing the rights of third parties (copyright, trademarks, privacy and so on)
  • Any other conduct similar to the above

5. Ownership of rights

  • Rights in names, game data, images and other material relating to Teamfight Tactics and League of Legends belong to Riot Games, Inc. and other rights holders.
  • The Service obtains its game data and images from Riot Games (Data Dragon) and CommunityDragon.
  • You retain the rights to the text and other content you create.
  • These Terms do not transfer or license any of these rights to you or to the operator.

6. Disclaimer

  • The Service is provided as is. The operator does not guarantee that game data is accurate or up to date, that the Service is suited to your particular purpose, or that it will be available without interruption.
  • The operator is not liable for damages you suffer in relation to the Service, except where they are caused by the operator's intent or gross negligence.
  • If you suffer damages caused by the operator's negligence (other than gross negligence) and the preceding item does not apply under the law, the operator is liable only for the direct damages that would normally arise.
  • The Service is not endorsed or sponsored by Riot Games, Inc.

7. Changes to or suspension of the Service

The operator may change the Service, or suspend or end it. Where possible, we will announce this in advance on the Service.

8. Changes to these Terms

  • The operator may change these Terms when the change is in the general interest of users, or when it does not go against the purpose of the Service and is reasonable in light of its necessity, the appropriateness of its content and other circumstances.
  • When we change these Terms, we will post the new content and its effective date on this page a reasonable time before it takes effect.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

Japanese law governs these Terms. Any dispute relating to the Service shall be resolved by the Japanese court that has jurisdiction under the law.
